That thing begs the question, WHY?

Why not?

Looks like a helluva lot of fun... likely to be one of the first ones banned by Brady & Co. when the Demoncraps take the White House and Congress again... serious SHTF potential for those of us who'd rather not spend the $$$ (or have registered) for an AR-15...

Just curious...

It is awkward, ungainly and rifle calibers out of pistol barrels give lots of flash & bang and little ballistic performance. If using a rifle caliber, even a marginal one like the .223 I want the full advantage of enough barrel and steadiness of a shoulder stock.

Just 'cause it looks mean don't mean it is.

Get an AR. Everyone needs at least one.

I did buy one. And I love it.

Wear good ear protection and clean it regularly (about every 150 rounds) for optimum performance. The trigger isn't a strong point, but, gets better with useage. Mine has about 5,000 rounds through it.

Velocity loss? Of course.

In Arizona, magazine capacity for hunting handguns is unlimited and I've used the PLR16 when calling coyotes; six dead coyotes can attest to the effectiveness of this handgun. All shots under 50yds.

It should come with the handguard; you can buy it seperately from KelTec, along with the rear sling mount.

It is easy to mount a scope on the PLR16; I use a EER 2X Leupold.

Accuracy (7X Burris) is 1.35" average, 5 shots/100yds.

Hey, its fun. And a great truck gun to boot.

VA,

American Rifleman ran a short article in latest edition. Sample did 2.3" avg groups at 50 with a Bushnell 2-6 3200 scope (nice scope).

They are loud. I'd rather put that $ toward a couple AR lowers.

They are interesting but I would never buy one.
