My sons Tikka T3 sl shoots this 130 gr. load great. How is the performance on deer and antelope? Does it hold together pretty well? Thanks!

It'll be just fine on those critters and some quite bigger than that.

Ringneck I have used the power points on deer, antelope and hogs. One of the hogs was better than 400lbs. Recovered the bullet on that one and still weighed over a 100grs. You will have no problem with deer.

Great ammo. Generally surprisingly accurate and works very well on deer. Your son is good to go there.
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

Great! I've always reloaded so I don't have much experience with factory ammo on game.

I went thru 500 of those rounds before I got into reloading. They kill just fine.

A buddy of mine kills all his deer with those. No issues or complaints from him.

They are very accurate in cousin's model 70, 270. He has killed a lot of deer and hogs with them.
Buy a case if your rifle is accurate with them.

They've killed more deer than you can imagine. Kilt more deer than Peterbilt.

I like the 150 grain flavor in my Remington. 270. I have better results with quick kills or a good blood trail than my hunting buddy has with handloaded ballistic tips.

Somewhere on the internet, there is a picture of bullet expansion results that has several makes of bullets at various velocities, showing expansion. Bullets included were Win Power Points, Rem core-lokts, Speer, Hornady, etc. I believe all bullets were of the same caliber ( perhaps .308??), and same weight (180 grain???)- not sure.
I do remember that Win Power Points did very well, with good mushrooming at all tested velocities, without jacket separation.
In short- they scored well.

I've always had great results with the power point. They are a deer slaying machine.
