I knew this was going to happen... Our new Governor (and biggest anti-gun a$$hole to be in that office in years) has proposed huge increases in hunting and fishing licenses to help offset the budget deficit. These increases amount to between 40-60% hike on all fees. He promised not to raise taxes, but of course said nothing about fees.. Not only that, but he also proposed an increase of $10.00/license plate.
These damned democrats just can hardly wait to increase money coming in, instead of curbing money going OUT. I emailed this fool along with the appropriate state senators and assemblymen to urge them to vote this proposal down. What's wrong with cutting outrageous state spending?? Two weeks ago, we had a small batch of 'flurries' (literally). I saw a county snowplow truck on I94, dump up, salt a-flowing and the plow down and showering sparks..... DOING NOTHING......... No wonder we're short of money..
Anyone who is in WI., call their rep and have this idiot derailed.
