No idea which lane Prince really drove in, or if he drove down the middle, and never cared at all for his early career extreme over-the-top, bizarre stage 'schtick'. But, surprisingly, many of his more recent performances were outstanding in my opinion. Much more diverse musically than I ever imagined, amazing vocal range and almost magical playing a guitar.

You probably haven't heard music like this before. This gal could scream. Saw her live in Portland in the 80's. We were front row in a small club downtown. Drove all night to get home to work next day.
