Yeah, Gus, I know what you mean. If I see the same thing a few times I tend to believe what I saw too.

Just took the once though when those 3 flying saucers flew over. That did it for me.

Just watched it . Took a crack at it with the Creedmoor. Shouldn't have led it, think I shot forward of it a couple miles.
Range tomorrow to adjust powder load.

Hilljack, I digress from the op but...there is a fighter wing near Klamath Falls that uses the rough terrain in our area for ground hugging flying training. Sometimes you can see the pilot darn near level. About the second time we got buzzed, horses panicked into the fence, she calls Kingsley Field, they say we don't know nuthin' bout no aeroplanes. So I'm puttering in the shop a couple days later, and hear the jet, and a couple Boom...Boom. Yup, that ill tempered woman had at 'em with her 12 ga. Things were a little tense between us for a couple days.

Well this is a fine pickle we're in, should'a listened to Joe McCarthy and George Orwell I guess.

We've got a helicopter repair station somewhere east of here. All types and quite a few blackhawks buzz right over us heading back west from there. Always can here the blackhawks way off and go out to see them. As close as I've come to shooting at something flying over was when I was 15 practicing with my recurve with dad and his friend. Hot air balloon went drifting over us. All 3 of us aimed and drew back at it . Guy starting yelling something and then started hitting the propane.

It came over here at 6am Saturday. I watched it while out in the desert on a scout campout. It got half way across the sky then disappeared, presumaby into the earth's shadow
