Thanks Interesting you should say that. I've had one for like 20 years, made by Bushmaster back in the day. But just last week I dug it out and installed it on one of my flat top ARs because I wanted one AR that was set up more simply.

Took me longer than expected to find a nice condition colt handle awhile back for my flattop. Think I paid about 50 for it. I didn't want to go cheap cheap. I thought a good carry handle would be easy to find, evidently not.

Wow! That really is a good deal. I got one and fondled it a little. Seems it'd work, with the caveat it could be built heavier duty, and cost more.... I was not able to mount it up yet. But $18/shipped, and not China, I will buy a couple more.
