2000 F250 V10. Noticed it a couple days ago. Slow returning to idle or hanging around 1500. I can tap the throttle in it will come down and it seems to be intermittent. I'm in Tulsa, OK. so a long way from home. No check engine lights on the dash. Truck runs fine otherwise. Any ideas here? I'll check what houses I can for vacuum leaks.
On another note, are there any interesting gun shops or ammo deals around 21st and Yale or near the airport?
Milsurp or C&R would be cool.

Get that spray cleaner and shoot some down the throttle body. You can also spray around the hoses, throttle body gasket and see if idle increases, could be indicative of a vacuum leak. Sucks to have vehicle trouble away from home.

It's a 19 year old vehicle. Might be time to drive over to the dealership to see what they will give you before you have to have it towed to the dealership to see what they will give you.

I ain't skeerd. I'll get it home and if I can't I can find dealers all the way along I40 on the way home. It's more of a distraction right now.

Just make sure it's mass airflow safe. I had two Toyotas I had to spray the throttle bodies because of where the crank case vent connected.

Yup, clean the Throttle body, and use throttle body cleaner not brake clean or carb cleaner.

I cleaned the TB with TB cleaner and the MAF with MAF cleaner and that seems like that worked to tame the idle issue.

Gonhuntin, great recommendation. That store was really cool. Being from California, it gave me a little freedom boner.
