I liked #7 with mine. It worked well enough, and shot well enough, in my Delta Elite. It sure metered better than Blue Dot. I never tried #9 with the 10mm, but it worked well enough in a couple of .44s.

For 200 gr and up No 9 really shines! For 180 No 7 or No 9 will be good. For under 180 No 7 gets the nod.

What they said. I have also had good luck with Blue dot, which is what I am using currently with 200gr cast bullets. I tried Power Pistol but it was mediocre with the heavy bullets. When I use up the Blue Dot I have, I will probably go with AA7 and / or AA9.

Tom

For 200gr - AA9 is first choice, Blue Dot second choice. Blue Dot meters poorly, makes a lot of flash, and can't quite meet the same speeds as AA9 for this application, but it is still the best second choice of the powders you mentioned.
Power Pistol and AA7 are better for 165gr and lighter.

I always figure on trying several powders, each in a few different powder weights, before I know which I want to use.
We may know the time Ben Carson lied, but does anyone know the time Hillary Clinton told the truth?

Longshot Blue Dot and AA#9 all work well. I've used all three on 220s as well.
