Was looking through some websites ( Midway, Brownells) to see what's available, an I came upon a new one to me - Peterson Cartridge Co. has anybody used any of their bass fro reloading, and what do you think of it. I reload for 308 Win, and Federal has pretty much been my go to. The availability has been and still seems to be pretty spotty. also, has anyone used Starline Brass,. and what do you think of it. I know it's not new,. and the reviews I read seem pretty favorable.
Thanks

A good principle to guide me through life: “This is all I have come to expect, standard lackluster performance. Trust nothing, believe no one and realize it will only get worse…”

I was really rooting for Peterson right up until that debacle.
Pretty hard to not lean Alpha, ADG or Lapua.

I'm working through 100 rounds in 6.5 CM - can't fault it one bit. If they had any QC issues in the beginning, I haven't noticed any now.

That was a harsh lesson in social media marketeering.

Thanks If you’re happy with Federal, Starline will be a step up and is reasonably priced. Peterson should be a step above that. Are you just loading 308 and for what? If you want the best and it’s offered in the desired chambering, Lapua is the easy button. ADG makes great brass and has pretty good availability in a wide variety of chamberings. I’ve got thousands of once fired Federal GM brass in 308.

I've used Starline in 308 and 243 Winchester, and the batches I got were pretty rough compared to the premium stuff. The case mouths needed a bit of rounding out and a lot of chamfering inside and out before they were ready to accept bullets. The neck wall uniformity of the 308 stuff was really bad, the 243 was so-so. For your 308 the Lapua and Alpha is top line stuff. I've found SIG brass in 308 to be very well made and at a great price too. Federal is available: https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1021420431?pid=854038
