That rear sight blank appears to be off center and it looks like it has some tool marks on it. If not for that, I wouldn't have given it another thought. If the factory installed it, it should look that way - original and unfooled with. Maybe the pictures are just bad...?

It will not letter as an RS -even if it is - as factory records did not have the information to differentiate between the two. I have a letter from John Callahan that states that. So......add the value of a Redfield 70LH plus a sight blank and subtract the value of the original rear sight on a 99R - and that should be the price differential.
