I have one of these, and for other's sake, does it take crio or crio plus chokes? Crios were used in the the first few years, then they updated to the Crio +.

I'm not sure how to tell the difference, all 5 of these are marked "BENELLI ARMI-CRIOCHOKE"

My Super Sport is about 2 years old and the chokes are Crio+ and they have an overall length of 3.5" with an extension sticking out past the end of the barrel of approximately 3/4" and the threaded section starts approximately 3/4" down the barrel. Hope that helps. Scott

The threads are different. I think if you look at a choke manufacturer's site, like Briley, and look at the two types of Crio or the Beretta Optima/Optima+, you will be able to tell which you have.
