I'm looking to buy a small point and shoot camera without breaking the bank.
Near shirt pocket size as it will be carried while hunting/fishing etc.
Under $500 please.

Sony RX100. There are seven different iterations or upgrades of this camera and I have a IV version. She's a sharp little bugger. Takes wonderful pics. Pick a version that suits your budget and have fun. Ebay has a bunch of each version. Think I paid $700 for my IV version. https://www.kenrockwell.com/sony/rx100-mk-iv.htm

This is about the best deal out there: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1209681-REG/sony_cyber_shot_dsc_rx100_digital_camera.html

After trying others I settled on the Nikon COOLPIX. Takes great shots, simple, compact, and I've got the orange color so when you set it down you remember where you put it.
