Easy to see how HOA's get so popular. That's unfortunate. People should get together and fix the house. But who wants to fix the house of a millionaire for free? So what do people do? Create HOAs and sue the owners of blighted properties and force the money to be spent. It's sad.

More likely that 50 years of depression and anxiety shaped his life, and he used marijuana to cope. That would be my guess. Im 57 and I know folks my age who started smoking in high school and still do. They live normal successful lives raised nice kids and if they didn't pull out a joint you wouldn't know they been smoking for 40 years. Im not saying its a good habit but not necessarily does it doom you to a life in your parents basement. I don't indulge myself. Not more so than beer. Some folks drink a couple of six packs a day and are fully functioning participants in society, and some are not.

And yeah not a pot smoker myself in any way, but i know people who have smoked it the entire life and are fully functional. I have family members who do lol. Raised nice families and have awesome jobs. Hell ones an engineer and one install and works on mri machines. Its all in the drive of the individual

So, they get a participation trophy? That's pretty funny. One time I sold a small boat to this rich guy. I don't remember what he did, but he was loaded. I think he had some apartments and such. Anyway, I couldn't put my hands on the title right away so later I stop by his house to drop it off. Go in & BS for a while and have a beer or two with him. Nice guy right? After we finished our second beer, he disappears and his girl friend who had been off doing other things shows back up DRESSED IN A FUGGIN TEDDY and tells me Mr. Rich guy is passed out and won't be waking up until the next day and that this is his normal pattern to drink all day and pass out by 6pm. I'm like "Ma'am I gotta scoot" and she's literally begging me to bone her. I'm a married man so I got out of there post haste. I couldn't help but feel kind of sorry for her. She probably hadn't been banged by "Mr Functional Alcoholic" in months!
