Rare 1988 collectible Remington R3 Big Game folding hunter. The knife features the rare Elk Head shield by Sid Bell. This is a large 2 bladed double lock back measuring 5" closed and nearly 9" open. The clip blade tang is stamped with the "Remington UMC Made In U.S.A." stamp on the front and "R-3" on the rear. It features a beautiful russet genuine leather case which holds the knife and pocket sharpening steel. Knife is in the original box with paperwork. NOS Full disclosure…..hard to photo, there is what appears to be a small crack(approx.1/8") in front bolster where handle fits underneath. There are No cracks in the handles at the lanyard hole which is typical of these knifes. $120 shipped and insured. M.O. preferred, not set up for Paypal.

My son and I have skinned a lot of whitetails with the same one as this. Have 3 of them and we're not parting with any of them.
We have moved onto more expensive customs, but these old Remingtons are as good as anyone needs.

Mine is from the late 70's, still does the job. Hard to find one as useful now.
