High oil prices favor russia....they have little else. Oil supply disruption helps russia develope more EU dependence on russian supplies. High oil prices favor big oil at the expense of the overall US economy. Last edited by SAcharlie; 01/07/20. Really great deal all the way around; unless you are in the energy business. Most of the guys I know and once worked with are either unemployed (as am I) or learning to sell cars, real estate, shoes or anything else that comes along. The cheering section only cheers when Oil and Gas hit bottom.
