I have an interest in doing some of the new .22 matches that are popping up everywhere that range from 25-300 yards. I want a MIL scope so I can be consistent with my main hunting scopes. Budget will be around $1000
My gun is a KIDD.

I’m eyeing the Vortex PST 2 5x25
I’m seeing a lot of popularity in the Athlon ETR but honestly I’m not sure about that brand yet

Any ideas or recommendations are welcome

You can probably find a used Steiner T5Xi for $1K. I did just that last summer, I think I have 3 now. They track well now that Steiner solved a problem in the early production models. The SCR reticle is still one of my favorites. Hard to beat for a grand.
