It aint getting overturned.
It doesn't need to be overturned in order to be rendered ineffectual. What would be the purpose of that? To save children from being murdered. Clean clear plain. A child in the womb is a child. The constitution guarantees equal protection under the law. Where is the equal protection for the unborn child?

So, if a provider has no admitting privileges, he cant perform an abortion?
What would stop hospitals from providing those services in a clinic setting? That's the crux of the case awaiting oral arguments before the courts now. Perhaps nothing,except it might not be profitable. Planned parenthood,a true oxymoron, profits by dismembering the child and selling that child's body parts for profit.It also receives tax payer funding, in spite of the fact that a majority of citizens have turned against abortion.

I would venture a guess that the Hospital Industry could find a way to make it profitable. Generally through forced funding by citizens who disagree.
RTE, when you say that a majority of citizens have turned against abortion, do you mean certain types or certain circumstances?
From what I can gather, an outright ban is not supported. A ban on certain types or during certain circumstances might have a better chance for support though.

It's become abundantly clear that many women use abortion as a form of birth control.If abortions had such restrictions it would be reasonable to argue that those same women would take their responsibility to use birth control more seriously.

The real solution to this is to:
1. Persuade as many as possible that abortion is an terrible, unnatural thing, to be avoided whenever possible.
2. Amend the Constitution to allow limits on it based on science and common sense, not political considerations.
