I always shot the IMR 4350 and the 165 NBT out of my 06 for deer. Killed a pile of deer with that combo when that was my only CF rifle.

My antelope, deer, elk, & moose load for the longest time was 57 grains H4350 with a 180 gr. Partition seated .020 back from the rifling
It's you and the bullet, and all the rest is secondary.

150gr Hornady Interlock or Speer HotCor over 52gr of IMR 4064;. Same bullets over 49gr of IMR 4320; or 180gr any brand over 55 or 56gr of IMR 4350. All accurate loads.

Took my KY buck and doe with a 165gr. Sierra Game King and 56gr. IMR 4350. A load that's accurate and deadly.

59gr H4831, 180 Pro-Hunter.
Put together using leftover crap in a half assed effort to get something to shoot in a chittt 760.
Right around MOA, reliably. Drops deer.
Pisses me off when half fast works out better than careful effort.

H4895 with the 130 TTSX had worked real well, IMR 4064 with 150 Balistic Tips and Accubonds are what I normally run, and Reloader 22 with 180 Partitions and Accubonds if you need more muscle

165 Ballistic Tip over 57.5 grains of H4350. Very accurate, does plenty of damage and passes thru.

I hunt white tails. I load 165gr Hornady flat base over 56gr of H4350 with a WLR primer.

It sure seems like I hear a lot of that 130 TTSX ... may have to give that one a try! Now I’ll have to go through my powders I have and see if I have anything that’ll push it well. I’m thinking I have some Varget. That should work with that 130 TTSX I’d think.

Shamanic Top Deer Loads in 30-06:
Mine: 165 grain Hornady I/L SP's over H4895
Angus and Moose: 150 grain Rem PSPCL over H4895
SuperCore: 165 grain (something pointy and cheap with a red tip) over H4350
All are well off-MAX loads-- very accurate, low recoil loads. Both knock the snot out of deer with equal aplomb. My longest shot with the load is somewhere around 170 yards. Angus hold the camp record with 253 yards.
I recently received a lifetime supply of Hornady 150 grain I/L SP's for free. Considering how well the Remmies do, I'm going to convert.

Pisses me off when half fast works out better than careful effort. I have used the Sierra Pro-Hunter for years to prove 30 caliber rifles can shoot. It is an impressive bullet!

IMR 4451 under 150 Interlocks at 3000 fps. Extremely accurate in my old Savage and smucks deer.

Any 150 over 59gr IMR 4350 was the recipe I used to load for several friends back in the 70's-80's down in East Tx. Hornady 150sp was choice. The 150 Sierra did better in the 308s. Those are small deer, but feral hogs could be huge...Texas Grizzlies! No joke...

Someone on here posted pics of a 165 partition at 2500fps 3 FEET of penetration inside a grizzly. That seems like enough for deer
