What is the difference?

Had one way back in the day. Full-size, fourteen round, IIRC. Very nice gun. Shot a big Tomcat with it that had been spraying our place and yowling outside at night. F u c ker flipped six or seven feet in the air. DRT. Wanted to shoot a couple of Rots that had been after a Fox den in the pasture in front of our house. Bastards would bite at Mama's Caddy every day when she went to school and it got to where I couldn't walk around without being armed due to those sorry sumbeaches. I tried to angle around to get a good shot but they sensed I was gunning for them and skeedaddled. I have only fond memories of it and would recommend one highly. Only caveat is that they are big and not for the small handed.

I have the Paraordianance P-13. It's their commander size double stack 45.
I like it. I've had no issues. with it. I only run real Para magazines in it, but I understand reliability is an issue with aftermarket mags.

Thanks for the feedback. This one feels nice in my hand. It is a commander size might be the warthog from what has been described. I will need to go back and have another look..

I had one of the double stacks in .40, loved it. Only thing was sometimes it'd lock back with one still in the mag, but other than that I had no issues. Regret selling it honestly.

Kahr CW45 never jams. I bought a kahr cw45 and love it. Never jammed in 500+ rounds through it. I liked it so much I bought a cw380. Nothing but feed problems with it. It refuses to cycle hollow point ammo. Ive tried a bunch of different manufacturers, different grain bullets, ect. I even polished the feed ramp and tried different mags. It will only shoot fmj's.

Mine is a Para-Ordnance P-12-.45 double stack reworked some, okay quite a bit. It is a commander size handgun with an alloy frame. I added a Tijicon RMR red dot sight and it works well as a range toy. The only trouble I ever had with it is that the grip panels are really thin and the grip screws are short. I replaced the original rubber grips with rosewood and the recoil split the right one down the middle. Now it has wrap around rubber finger groove grips and they work fine. 230's are pretty sharp out of that light a .45 and I'll be looking for 180's the next time I buy ammo. Being a double stack it is a handful and any 1911 is just too large for me to go packing around as an every day carry piece.
My other auto is a .45

I had a Lt. Col. (Commander-sized).
Para mags sucked, Aftermarket functioned 100%. I was told to avoid Para mags but had to see for myself....

I bought one when they only sold frames and mags. Assembled with Colt parts, never had a problem with it.

I have a P14 full Size Frame is a Canadian Model, Super Reliable, never jammed it. I even have a a couple of non OEM mags that are Italian made and those work great too. I have been keeping my eye out for a P13 which is the commander length but have not found one yet. I am a 1911 lover and this gun gets taken out a lot and shot since I have owned it. I dont know if the Para-USA models are as good, but I do know that Para was hostile taken over by Remington now cause they did all the custom work for Remington just before that happened, so no new para's will exists other than than R1 Remington now.
