Hi guys, I want to buy some cheap ammo for target shooting and this ammo Prvi Partizan seems to be the cheapest. Cheap ammo and target shooting is usually an oxymoron. I’d say it depends on the target and purpose. Off a bipod and bags at 500 yards? Yep, probably my not going with cheaper ammo. Off hand at milk jugs inside of 50 yards? Good to go.

I have used it a good bit on hogs with a 30-30 Winchester with 150 gr bullets... Kills great.

Decent ammo for trigger time. Good brass as well. I use it as a brass source for euro and old military rounds. Price is quite good especially if you buy in bulk online. For 243 it should work fine for those purposes although you may find win/fed/rem cup and core loads for less locally just due to volume and promotional pricing.

Morning Cub. I suggest that Cheap ammo allows a guy to shoot MORE. I understand what you're saying and it's certainly true about Reloading. It STARTS out that way but it's a GREASED cliff. We normally end up spending A LOT more $$ buying components et.al. Then we buy more guns and diff calibers/cartridges..... buy more components etc. haha Jerry

It's solid stuff. Made in a first world country. Sometimes it's a bit worse than the premium domestic made stuff, but I find it's generally as good or often better than the cheaper domestic made stuff like American Eagle etc.

I've used many many thousands of rounds of .223 without issue or complaint, it was my go to ammo when I was shooting rifle / 3-gun matches.
I have a friend who had extraction troubles with 30-30 in his Marlin. Difficulties extracting the empties of the Prvi, but no trouble with Remington or Winchester ammo that same range trip.

They started in 1927. They are a mainstay of ammo production in Europe.

I've used PPU in many weapons - a Blackhawk & M1 (.30 Carbine), a Mauser 1914 (.32ACP/7.65 Browning), S&W Model 30 (.32 S&W Long), & Enfield N4 mk 1 (.303 British).
It worked great in all (and better than most others in the .30 carbine weapons).
I haven't shot the 6.5x55 Swedish PPU I bought yet - still have too many rounds my father loaded in the 1960s/70s to go through, as I want to get rid of that aging brass etc.

Used much Prvi in my rifles. May be a bit dirty but nothing a bit of solvent won't cure.

I don't often buy loaded ammo, for Privi only one, 22 Jet. Wanted the brass. It worked fine and had good accuracy. The brass is excellent and I have bought just Prvi brass to reload. Good value for the money IMHO. Their bullets don;t seem to quite match other offerings, but do work.
