Traded into this rifle a couple years ago but have never hunted with it. Have shot it with Federal Trophy Copper 165g which produced consistent ¾ inch groups at 100. Barrel is dark blued with wear around the muzzle, and receiver is turning the Ruger purple. Scope is Leupold M8 4x and has a couple ring scratches, but functions perfectly and glass is clear. Sock is better than average with only a few press marks and original red pad. IIRC the serial number puts it at about a 1978 build date. With the market what it is right now just trying to determine what this might be worth. May consider selling depending on price. Thanks,

I just looked at completed auctions of your rifle that actually sold. Your rifle is around $400-450 for just the rifle with no scope, or a cheap scope on it. Some went for more, some less. Condition dependent of course. So my final answer is $425.

Your Leupold scope is worth around $125, and should be sold separately in my opinion.

Thanks RAS and elkivory. That’s mostly in-line with what I was thinking. I hadn’t thought about splitting the rifle / scope and that might be a option.
