Has anybody here got any real world, in the field experience with the Kowa 6.5x32 wide angle binos? Looking to fill a niche and these are intriguing. Primary use would be deer hunting in the southeastern US in thick wooded areas, with good low light capabilities, along with use during turkey season.
Not really interested in the Yosemite 6x30 route.

Seem like just about perfect (since no one is making a good 7x35 dielectric roof these days). Bit pricey though,
I am curios if they are worth the cost over the 6x30 yosemite's.

I have 6x30 by Kowa, not the 6.5x32, but not the 6x30 Yosemite's. They Kowas do feel better than the Yosemite's I handled, and they are easy to use both by me and my 10 and 8y kids, the 6 and 3yo didn't complain about them either. Good quality in wooded areas and light, Can't imagine the 6.5x32s would be of lesser quality.

That’s one of my questions as well. I have some experience with one of their lower end spotters, but not the binos.

Not really interested in the Yosemite 6x30 route. I found a review where they are mentioned. https://www.allbinos.com/index.php?art=177

I had the Yosemites and miss them. Extremely comfortable and such an easy view. I gifted them and bought Eagle Kingfishers which may be the rebadged Kowa. One half dozen other between really. I felty the Yosemites were a little more comfy. But can't really compare inexpensive Porros to the nice roofs you are looking at.
That 6.5 is VERY attractive for my current needs right now. Kowa is a brand I find myself looking at often and from a value\quality standpoint I would not be worried. Would love a pair.
Does Doug at Cameraland carry these? If so, I wonder if you might be able to test before you buy them ? ? ?

Maybe my Yosemites were the exception but they were really as bad as one can imagine.......
I have the Kowa BDII32-6.5xd that I bought from Doug last fall and I like em. I bought these as truck binos. They are on the dash or seat and in general they receive treatment that I didn't want to do to my high end glass. No issues and comfortable to use; they work well for my purpose as I'm not a fan of high magnification for most glassing.
