We're doing the corned beef thing. Very unoriginal: boil the corned beef and turn it slow for three hours. Potatoes, carrots, and onions in a separate pot, with the cabbage added in toward the end.

A little lazy tonight. My wife is reheated leftovers and I am having a handful of mortadella slices, a few chunks of Parmesan Reggiano, a spicy/garlicky pickle spear and a few pepperoncini. Oh, and a couple of martinis...

My eldest daughters favorite, made with elk or venison. Add a significant amiunt of fat when we do it.
