Me? I am in food manufacturing. Management has been informed by feds, we WILL remain in operation.
Our warehouses are seeing about double the outgoing traffic this week compared to normal for this time of year.
I have plenty of accrued vacation, and sick leave to boot. I could sit this out at home with Momma for a year. But, for now I am still coming in every day.

Yup.
We support aviation, and that would include stuff for emergency services, police and other government, and national defense. We are as busy as we want to be, and maybe more.

Idaho Shooter: I think "I" am in a critical profession - I am retired and lovin it! I do though, in all seriousness, remain thankful for the first responders being available 24/7 and for the folks in the medical industry for "being there" when "we" need them. The restaurants in my small town are on "take out" only mode. And I thank them for keeping that option out there. We'll get through this - it's not gonna be easy or painless but we will survive (most of us!). Hold into the wind VarmintGuy

I’m a retired firefighter . My son is a paramedic in a small fire department. They have modified the response for both police and fire here. Never done that before in my memory.

Well lets see..... the industry and job I work at allows me to pay a mortgage, utilities, phone, insurance, groceries, taxes to support our "critical guberment" uh yeah, I work in a critical industry. SMH.
Thats the funny thing about socialism when you start deciding who works and who sits and home you have to decide who makes the money for the ones sitting at home.

Wife works for water department. They are taking this verrrrrrry seriously. If the water supply is compromised, or even perceived as such, you haven't seen panic yet.

Wastewater facility manager. Want me to shut it down?
Grammar is important. Capitol letters are the difference between "helping your Uncle Jack off a horse" & "helping your uncle jack off a horse".

Good reality check for the entertainers, actors, and athletes to realize they are the first unnecessary thing that is shut down when things get sporty.

Wastewater facility manager. Want me to shut it down? In my younger years, I saw a local building with the sign "Solid waste department". For a few minutes, I was extremely dismayed to think that some poor souls had to deal with nothing but human turds all day. Then I saw one of their grapple trucks and and the light bulb came on.....
Now with even more aplomb

About time for athletes , "artists", entertainers, taverns, and casinos to learn their proper place in society! There is a problem when a huge percentage of the GNP is service industry. Nothing being produced, just money changing hands.

You three fellas keep up the good work....................just so's folks don't need to start poaching game yet. Wife works for water department. They are taking this verrrrrrry seriously. If the water supply is compromised, or even perceived as such, you haven't seen panic yet. You, tell your wife thanks, even though I live with my own well. Maybe she can keep the juice flowing so folks won't run out of water when their hoarded supply is diminished. Wastewater facility manager. Want me to shut it down? No No No NO! Someone is going to have to deal with all this extra toilet paper usage. Geno PS, I retired 3 summers ago. I consider everything I do around here "critical industry"..........on my own schedule that is.

Depends...
I work in transportation. My current role has me managing a team for a digital freight marketplace as part of the 6th largest 3PL in the country which is an agent for Georgia-Pacific, a Koch Industries company.
LOTS of TP being made and shipped right now. Up to 200% more than normal.
So yeah, critical in the sense of the hoarding. Not essential in the sense of does the public need the amount of TP they're buying? Probably not.
