Docter 8X42,
I have a pair, I purchased several years ago. They are probably slightly better than the Kahles line. The 8X42 Docter has a wider FOV than the Kahles, and is a very good low light binos. It does have a yellowish cast during sunny days. Betterview :
http://www.betterviewdesired.com/Doct.html has a review on them, and Hoger Merlitz does too:
http://www.holgermerlitz.de/ . The only negative, are the eyecups (do not really lock out, they do not collapse on you when they are fully screwed out either though), and the right diopter adjustment is easily disloged, however, it is easy to adjust too.
The Docters also have an average to low CA. I would like to compare them to a pair of Meostars if I had a pair. I will eventyally compare them to a pair of 7X42 Ultravids I got from Doug a few months ago (haven't had any time in the last three months for any of my bents).
The Docters are good glass for they money. If the Vortex Razors are the same price, I would probably go for the Razors based on others reviews. If you can get them for below five bills, I would go for it.
