My dad’s archery 10pt from 2019 after getting the euro mount done. Liked how it looked against our 50yo wallpaper.

A good-sized boar I plugged with my single-shot Whelen. The stinker fell out of the truck bed on my way out of the woods. Danged old rutted up trails.....
Now with even more aplomb

Rick was nice enough to knit this coaster, so I felt compelled to use it.

I knew I wanted a new avatar during those first few glorious days we knew Hitlery was not going to be POTUS #45. I think the meaning is obvious.
Don't be the darkness.

Kiko buck we picked up as a yearling from a group of purebred Kiko's that had been left abandoned for 2 years, left to survive on their own....lots of bones laying around the lot of ones that had died. Survival of the fittest and he was FIT. The picture is after he'd been on our place for a couple of years. Most of the does we're running now are out of him and the genetics are strong. I think he was close to 275 lbs as a 4 year old. Never aggressive towards people but he was hard to handle when worming....that much weight, low center of gravity, and full time 4 wheel drive is a handful.

A collector wanted Charlie and I, at Twin Blades, to make what we thought a push dagger should be. Charlie (348srfun) made the blade that screws into the handle I made.

Big fan of Clint, guns, and spaghetti westerns. Classic example of what happens when you push a peaceful, hard working family man to the brink. My favorite movie of all time, full of classic quips.

Air demo of the airplane I flew. Circa 1992, somewhere off the coast of Yugoslavia. 460 kts, negative "G' then stick all the way back and hold this vertical for a VERY short time before the nose falls through and 'Split S down the bottom...
A good principle to guide me through life: “This is all I have come to expect, standard lackluster performance. Trust nothing, believe no one and realize it will only get worse…”

Mine? The thing is ya see, and thank you for askin', Rick saved that special for me cause he just knew someday I'd join up here. It's a perfect replica of the quilt Jedidiah Pike had in his bedroll with he clumbed that mountain.

WDH: Good day to you sir, I hope that you and yours are weathering this current storm in an acceptable manner.
Thanks for the thread, we've gone a fair chunk of time since the last one like this - I think?
Mine is our 2 daughters with their first bucks which were taken within 20 yards and about 20 seconds of each other.
In a lifetime of hunting that day afield surpasses any deer, bear, moose or sheep that I've been blessed to take. Honestly it beats them all combined - you know?
My late father had told me it'd be that way and even though he wasn't around for it in person, once again his wisdom was spot on.
Anyway sir, that's mine.
All the best to you all. Stay well.
Dwayne
