Been fishing a varity of lakes around Central Florida. Results are a bit disappointing. Three fishermen typically putting in 7 hours on the water are bringing back about 15 fish. Still waiting for them to bed. We sure could have used more cold weather this winter. Bitch, bitch, bitch, rant, rant, rant!!!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

At least you can get out to fish. The lake by me is still covered by ice but not safe enough for ice-fishing. The crappie there are very small. Average size is about 6-7 inches, i did get a nice a 13incher last year though. Can't wait to get out though it seems like i just can't stop messing with rods and reels to pass the time.

Well, If you get down this way from Hoosier land I'll try to put you onto some nice fat, chunky black crappie. One lake on the Saint Johns river that we fish frequently yeilds 1 1/2 - 2 lb fish and 3 lb fish are not unheard of. Hope you are able to wet a line soon.
