Hello, It's been awhile since I last posted something for sale, when photobucket was the preferred option for adding photos. Now I cannot seem to tag an image on the post. In the image gallery, my files of the rifle are too large so if you are interested send me a private message with your email and I can send them to you.
I have a complete rifle setup for sale, including scope and rings. Details:
Remington 700 ADL IT&D Douglas barrel (#2 ? 22" length) Timney Trigger, wide trigger shoe BAT trigger guard HS Precision stock (PSS009 Olive/Black) Cerekote Midnight Green coating on barreled action and bolt shroud/handle Kahles 1.5-6x42 CSX (illuminated) scope. 4-DOT reticle. Rings, can't remember but appear to be Burris Signature.
This is a great timber elk rifle. Relatively light weight, weatherproof and shoots a 1" group with the limited loads I've developed. The twist (??) appears to favor light pills, e.g. 165 & 180, etc. I've only shot this rifle about 100 times, the previous owner stated 200 after the barrel was replaced. So, it's a newly set up rig with limited range use. SN on the action is C6481XXX I already have a 338-06 that I like better. This was a backup project that most likely won't see the forest.
Three disclosures to this rifle in terms of flaws: 1) When giddy about the new Cerakote and getting the rifle finally completed, I slipped up when mounting the rings/scope back on and put a nice scratch on the action! Unbelievable. I have photos. 2) Scope was bought here on the 'fire a few years ago (no box), the exterior has quite a bit of chaffing and scratches, but rings cover most of the eyesores. Glass is VG with light swirling. Otherwise a serviceable top tier Austrian scope. Was a $2,000 scope in it's day. 3) Callahan mag follower just doesn't play well. I changed the mag spring, but follower does stick from time to time. A thorough rework is due for reliability in the field.
Looking for $1,600 shipped CONUS for the package. FIRM.
Thanks for your interest. Please contact me via PM for photos. I can answer additional questions in the thread.

Thanks Steve! I appreciate the comments gents!
Since I've had a couple inquiries about splitting up the rifle, I've decided to offer the same option to break it up:
Scope: $600 Rifle with HS stock: $1000 Rifle with factory wood stock: $750 HS stock if wood stock with B/A sells: $250 Rings opt to the buyer of the first item sold.
Have a good day!

Thats a good deal! I've been wanting to build one like it and I doubt I could do it for close to this price.
I'd buy it if it preferred the heavier bullets.
Good luck with the sale!
