Older gentlemen asked me to sell a few guns for him. I got values on most the items except for these two Model 12's. He seemed to think there was some collector value one or both of these

First is a plain Jane Model 12 from 1937. The second is from 1954 and has a Cutts Compensator on it, it also has left handed safety.

Just good guestimates on value would help, he wants an idea before price them here or put them on GB.

Link to pictures below.

Thanks,
Kent

ONe with the cutts has non matching stock and forend. And i am guessing has the cracked stock. The cutts really hurts the value. Maybe $150 if you find someone wanting to cut the cutts off for a home defense gun.

The other one not too bad, maybe $300 on a good day, unless it has the left hand safetly then maybe $200.

These were hot about 15 years ago if decent. but bottom dropped out on these a while ago.

Thanks. The Cutts is one the cracked stock and the left hand safety.

Think he thought the Cutts was a factory install.

Too heavy for a pump when comparing to all the popular ones today.

Not for Waterfowl in a 12....And you would find few pumps better for that....

It is crazy how tight both actions are considering the age. But no, don't think I want to chase desert quail with one. Desert ducks would be fun though.
