I remember the dread name of Hong Kong Flu when I was eight. No shutdowns. No panic of any sort.

Our news media was a little more sane back then. Luckily CNN wasn’t even around.

There was no 24 hour news cycle to fill and there was no coup attempt.

Didn’t know there was a flu pantydemic in ‘69. Was in Nam. My uncle gave me a minigun and told me to clean up the neighborhood. Is that like the USA Flu in Asia?

I am..........disturbed.

I haven’t been in a bad hurricane in over 30 years. That one blowed the windows out of my Country Squire station wagon.

I had the Asian Flu in 1962, the Hong Cong Flu in 1969. So I was curious as to whether I had the Antibodies for the Covid 19. I went and got tested in April and turned up Positive for the Antibodies. I have never had any sickness, recently so I ask the Doctor what does this mean? He said ,Oh! you have the antibodies?? I am closing in on my 80th year on this earth and still don't really understand what testing positive really means?.........Dick

It should mean that you have a degree of protection against the virus to which you have matching antibodies. It means that your immune system will recognize a viral infection of that type quickly, and destroy cells infected by it early on.
