After 30 years, i have lost the adapter that allows the use of standard civilian thread bore brushes with a military M16 cleaning kit and, the adapter that fits that to allow shotgun brushes.
Can anyone direct me to a source of that adapter...im begging!
I have had this setup through my entire career and multiple deployments. For the life of me, i have no idea where i put it which is very atypical. Last week I bought a new M16 cleaning kit online that looked like it had the adapter. It arrived today and while it fits the M16 rods, the civilian brushes are too small to screw in.
If there is someplace else i should post this, im all ears.
