Has anyone had experience with the BDX system? I've read the hype but haven't heard of any actual field experience. I picked up a range finder a few months ago that has it so I'm thinking my next scope might be a Sig with BDX.

I am continually astounded at how quickly people make up their minds on little evidence or none at all.

I've got the Sig 2200 BDX RF and it works as advertised. You enter your data on the Sig ballistic app on your phone, sync the two, and your RF will give the holds you plugged in to the ballistic app out to 800 yds. Just make sure the data you enter into the ballistic app is verified by shooting and you'll be good to go. I like it so far, and the RF is stellar.

It is irrelevant what you think. What matters is the TRUTH.

I've hunted with it, it works as advertised.

One thing that I learned the hard way is that, unless you change the settings, the scope will shut itself off within so many minutes of it being used (power ring turned, etc). I saw a shooter antelope, the guide lased him and the dot never showed up. I should have killed him anyway but it flustered me and I blew the shot. I was hunting with the SIG optics guys and they fixed my settings and I killed a goat at 375 yards that afternoon.

I think the system is ok I have a friend who put 3 on different rifles. They are not precise each time ringing steel at 500 2/3rds of the time hits. Not shooter error. The eye relief and eye box also sucks. Pretty cool thought they will probably perfect like moving reticle instead of illuminated dots.

Have it on a 308. Works fabulous, once you input your data and learn the system, it is simple ... take your time initially with the setup. I did have an issue with the RF, (my fault) . They sent a postage-paid box, no questions, no receipt, had it back to me perfect within 2 weeks with no charges and works great!

I grabbed a Kilo 3000 bdx the other day not for the bdx but for the lrf and the ability for an Outdoorsmans stud mount.

IMHO bluetooth is 60% reliable with my iphone and anything and I kinda despise the technology.

The Kilo 3000 paired to my Kestrel has been quick and 100% so far (couple days of use mind you) but I have been impressed how quick it links as well as how fast it comes on line.

One glitch I have noticed is that when in scan mode and hitting several different ranges in a row, the Kestrel doesn't know what to do and will not change from the last reading, so if I'm certain the target is say 876 yards, I'd wanna hit the range button a single time until I hit the target at 876 on a single touch of the button. Easy to do as long as a guy understands what's going on.

Overall, it gets a thumbs up from me.

Screw you! I'm voting for Trump again!
