Old Glory sure has taken a beating in recent days. People burning and other wise disrespecting it Some folks are afraid to show the colors for fear of upsetting someone. Some places telling us we can not let her wave. HORSEPUCKY!! A friend asked me if I ever flew the flag at my house. And when I said "YOU BET" He asked me if I was afraid it would upset someone and cause them to do my family harm. WHAT!! I and my family have had flags on our property since I can remember. Last week I installed a new 30 foot flag pole in the front yard. I have another full sized flag flying from the porch. We have 28 small flags in the flower gardens in both the front and back yards as well as several flag themed decoration on the front porch. We sat on the front porch this morning drinking coffee. we both had flag themed t-shirts on as well as red white and blue shorts and shoes. If there are those that dont 'like that they best stay away from this place as they might could get mightly offended.

Here in Iowa we fly an American, and an Iowa flag
When we are in Canada we fly the Canadian flag.

We always have Old Glory flying over our place, below it flies a Don't Tread on Me flag. But damn to I want a Confederate flag more than ever right now. Never a complaint yet,not expecting any either. If so,they damn sure aren't welcome here.
