Loved reading Wayne's article on low walls. I'm interested in .22BPCR competitions, as I do dearly love .22LR's and falling block actions. I'm back in the gun collecting hobby after being away for 30 years and have been going a bit crazy on GunBroker buying guns over the last several years or so. My two favorite recent buys are an Anschutz (mint) model 22 with a 54 action and a CZ 452 (mint) in a Mannlicher stock. Both are fine examples of the gun maker's art. That said, I'd dearly love to find a modern Low Wall Winchester in .22LR and high grade wood. The high grade LW 1885's I've seen from Winchester with the gold inlay of rabbits and squirrels has a definite appeal. Right now, though, I don't have time to shoot the guns I already have, so it's going to be a while before I get serious about shopping for a Low Wall .22LR.
