I think it got up to 83 today. It's 67 right now. Supposed to be highs in the mid 70's all next week.

93 here in Tucson at 4 am today. Supposed to hit 111.

Could be worse could be in Phoenix which is 98 right now and high of 116 or Lake Havasu City where it is 100 at 4:30 am and going to hit 119.

That same high-pressure dome that's over AZ is also over Utah. Historically, this is the the hottest week of the year here. It is now 5:50 am Friday and my weather station says it is 85/21% It should top 100.

We arrived in Utah on this date 35 years ago and it was 105 that day. Year in and year out, we see between five and 10 days of 100 degrees here - and the same amount of below zero degree days. It has NOT changed since Pioneer days, no matter what some people's faulty memories say. What does change is our rainfall pattern. This is starting to look like a dry year after 2019 which was very wet. We had no measurable rainfall in July at my house.

Cooled down below 60 here. Not a cloud in the sky. Calling for 93 which will feel like 103 to me later.

It has topped out between 96 and 99 degrees F for over a week. Not atypical but not an annual occurrence . Expected to be the same for another four or five days. I like the hot weather, myself. but my wife is less fond. GD

We hit 90 for the first time this year. We are supposed to cool a bit on Sunday. About to go on a walk on the lake with my wife.
