SAF provided an amicus brief for getting this case started. SAF is bringing a similar case in Weis vs Becerra and will use this case as support so gun owners should end up with two big court rulings against such shennanigans in the future. https://www.wbtv.com/2020/08/14/th-circuit-ends-california-ban-high-capacity-magazines/

Looking at it from the other direction, the plaintiffs won't give up easily either. Kind of a big case, I'd not expect either side to roll over.

Donate today to the SAF, it's important that they have the resources to continue the fight.
In the absence of an effective NRA, the SAF is an outstanding option as they concentrate on court challenges like this one.

All gun owners are in this together whether they realize it or not. These are court cases that can impact gun laws in every state. Its only a matter of time.

Seems I recall NY having some sort of capacity limit, maybe CT too, Probably a few I'm forgetting.
If Cali gun owners win this one, there will be an immediate impact in those state with mag limits already, and it will prevent other states from attempting them later.

Literally nothing to lose for the gun banners in Cali.
Appealing it to SCOTUS brings a lot of risk for anti 2A forces in other states and by the time it could reach SCOTUS Trump might have made another appointment..
