I don't wear a mask much but hate it when I do. I'm seeing more people around here not wearing masks and that's a good sign. The employees in most places around here don't care if you wear a mask or not. I took a trip to Karnes County last Sat with my SIL to check on his cattle and we stopped at a feed store on the way. Nobody in the feed store was wearing a mask including the employees. I hope to see more of this. A guy at the gas station told me hardly anybody in New Braunfels (where he is from) is wearing masks including restaurant employees. All the hard headed Germans there must be getting fed up.

Not wearing a mask needs to be contagious.

Stores around here have big signs stating that it’s “required”. Employee at the door reminding shoppers. HomeyD even offers one.

I tell them I can’t wear one. “Have a nice day, sir”

So, not really required.

It is when they are trying their best to control the populace.

It's mandatory people obey without question.

I’m gonna make a “use percentage” guesstimate for our area......perhaps 20% are using masks! memtb

I don’t let it get under my skin. I don’t think they’re really effective but I’m being a xtra careful because of my 89yr old mom who still lives alone but wife and I see her almost daily and take her meals. To me it’s not worth it to take that gamble.

It's funny, I don't wear one and when I'm in a store I pass someone else that doesn't have one on we just smile at each other.

Around here, I'd say it's less than 50% mask wearers. Often, you see most everyone maskless. But, there's still plenty of idiots out there, driving alone in their cars... with a mask on. Walking their dog.. with a mask on. Walking down the sidewalk alone... with a mask on....

Most businesses don't care (though the signs are up everywhere), and most employees now are sick of wearing the stupid things, and they don't anymore.

90% of the people in SC wear them... I have not worn one yet. Been asked a couple of times to wear one and I just reply, 'I can't because of a health condition..." They LEGALLY cannot ask you what this perceived condition is so that ends it... I just smile and continue about my business. Mask schmask... I ain't wearing no stupid mask.

I was in the farm store yesterday and as I went through the doors I noticed the two people at the check out counter wearing them. I stopped to talk to a guy I know and hear came the guy from the counter, right at me. He stuck his hand out and I latched hold. He says I sure like your hat. My RED MAGA hat! I said I do too and he went back to work. Not a word about me not wearing a mask.

I wore one to the grocery store in the big town over west today.

Made it about 10 mins.

Took it off. No one said anything. The check out lady was very pleasant.

The little gal that helped carry the bags out took off her mask once we got outside.

She looked up to me and said...."gawd these things suck!".

I would like to extend a great Thank You! to anyone out there wearing a bullshit mask all day instead of staying home and collecting unemployment.

Tougher people than me.

The funny thing is that the only person wearing a net to get into the store was a former preacher from Church.
We're talking a big fishing net. I laughed when I saw him. I said, I like your mask.
Ive got one of those too for getting into some places.
I pulled out the exact same net, except mine was military and his was white.

😄
