We are probably gonna keep our kids out too Gruff.
8 and 11 years old.
They can't wear a mask all day.
I figure they can try and punish me for what I did in 2016 all they want.
Dont fugg with my kids though. They weren't even of voting age.
From what I've seen/been told enrollment numbers are down big time over here. Good. Fugg em in the pocketbook. Funds match up to enrollment numbers I believe. But there's enough fugging people moving in and already here that probably won't make a difference like it would over on your side. BTW I'm going to come over and try and punch a deer tag on the Milk this year. I'll swing by with a bottle of Turkey to drop off.

SuperCub, if it's a condition of work i.e. working with particulates or noxious fumes you're comparing carrots to tangerines. We do wear respirators (1/2 and full face) for particulates and fumes at work in the refinery, but also as a condition of work have to wear a mask under certain circumstances to prevent the covid. It's either that or not work. You can be a hero and say xxxx that, but I have a good job that I like and pays very well. I'll wear the mask.

If your standard resistance to other viruses is good (mine is) then COVID is a nonstarter. If you get colds a lot, or the flu has whacked you, then you'll have issues. The issues will be worse if you already are working on the big five killers, heart, lungs, BP/Stroke, cancer and diabetes. Then COVID makes it all even more dangerous.
So, it's virulent and contagious as anything, but how you respond to it or how sick you get, is NOT random.

Been applying to mask production line jobs... Apparently "want to see if masks are more like the bear or rabbit" is not a good response to "what do you find most interesting about this position?"

If it's a condition of employment I get it. I initially read your post as a "I wear them anyway whats the big deal". If I was in error, I apologize. If I wasn't, then dip a penis in poutine and eat it.

We are almost covid free here in Atlantic Canada and only have a few restrictions. I don't wear a mask unless I have to.

Teacher I talked to yesterday said it wasn't enough to simply opt for the remote learning. The dumb schit school districts would still get all the funding for your kid....you just did the teaching for free. The teacher said you would have to completely remove your kid from the district and totally homeschool.

I mowed weeds today, mostly kocia. A bit late, as it's blooming; the pollen really gets me. I wore a mask but it didn't even keep all the pollen out; it's supposed to catch viruses?

No, it's not. According to my doctor cousin, the only point of the mask, is to catch the moist air leaving your body, which may contain the virus, if you were infected, and did not already know it. You can pass it on, before the test results come back positive. It does not protect you, nor is it intended to, it's to protect the next guy. It's intended to help break the chain of infection.

the only real difference between a good tracker and a bad tracker, is observation. all the same data is present for both. The rest, is understanding what you're seeing.

Are you adding yourself to the covtard ranks? Does your doctor cousin think that 100% of the population ought to be assfugged into wearing a mask by law? What to they think about masks during flu season? About illegal aliens bringing in God knows what unscreened and turned loose on the population? Picking and choosing what do do as far as prophylactics seems very very subjectional lololololololol I don't take the word of any single health professional pushing masks unless they are also serious DEADLY SERIOUS about screening for disease at every airport and border land crossing and PPE every single time the seasonal flu crops up.
