The rebuilds are just as good as the real thing maybe better. Melvin rebuilds these on the weekend by himself when everyone is out of the shop. Can’t get much better than that. Great seller also.

Can you provide some specs on the 28 or tell me where to find them? Thanks. donsm70

Man, you know you we all want to know the weights:-) Really depends if they are 24” #2 or 26” #3; ~ 6 or ~6.5 respectively.

The barrels are all 26". I don't have specific weights currently. I'm trying to get them now. When Mr. Brogan sent them to Melvin he didn't specify just said build me these and when Melvin sent them back he didn't specifically say what contour. From looking and weight I'd say they are #2 contour. Melvin did the whole workover on these.

OK, stupid question then - are those prices with scope? If they are, I will take the 28 Nosler. If not - what is the LOP and twist on the 28? Thanks ...

I'm sorry and I'll edit the post. No those are not scoped prices. He is keeping his scopes.

LOP is 13.5". Scopes not included. I do not know the twist rates.

I'm thinking the same. I'm close to telling him myself that I want the 28. I just sold my 7RUM to NTO so it would fill that 'void'.

I do it all the time wrt rifles! 🤦♂️ They are really nice - I too like the 28. I didn’t know Mel would do a 26” #2 so you earn something every day. Curious if the 30 and 33 are coated or why only the 28 is ss barrel? Seems like the 28 is the “Best Buy” of the bunch being ss. Tempting ...

Can’t tell from the pics. Are any of these braked or threaded for a brake/suppressor?

No they’re Chromemoly straight from Melvin. He uses the Douglas premium.
