I just picked up a Tikka T3x with a 1:7 twist and am looking for an all purpose load (coyotes/chucks/ occasional deer). I’ve got 70grain Accubonds inbound. Does anyone have experience with these? How would they compare with 65 grain Sierra GameKings? I’ve got Varget and W760 on hand. Any favorite loads?

I have a Tikka T3x with a 1-8" twist, never seen one with 1-7" (where did you get it ??)
I love the 65gr Sierras in my 223's with Varget but in a 22-250 W760 would work better, but I use RL19 or IMR4831 for 70-80grainers

It may well be a 1:8. It is the fast twist.

I have a 22.250 Ruger Stainless with a 1 in 7 twist barrel... its an aftermarket Pac Nor...Shooting bullets in the 70 to 80 grain Weight Range, I thought the best powder for velocity would be the 4350 burn rate and up...

I was WRONG....

you can get in the 3300 to 3350 fps range with IMR 4064, IMR 4895, RL 15 , Varget or IMR 4320 burn rate range...

haven't tried the AccuBombs so if ya do, work up from a little lower of course

of the bullets I've tried, that are the newer types...the most accurate ones.. in no particular order..

73 gr ELD, 75 HPBT, and 80 A max or ELD, havent yet tried the 88 ELD, or the 85 and 90 RFD Nosler...nor the Sierra 77s... any one of them...

If I had to settle on one for velocity and accuracy.. it would be any one of the 68 BTHP, 73 ELD or the 80 AMax...
