I will be up there scouting and gold panning in August, not totally sure where exactly, just waiting on the weather. "Maybe" next year, IF, I can scare up the $$$$$$ it costs, the YT is Canadian, but, the outfitters do not treat we non-resident Canucks any differently that non-resident aliens and this has gotta change!

If, I wanted to hunt the Yukon, NWT or BC for wild sheep and was not a Canadian citzen, I would do it asap as domestic demand plus aboriginal bullschitt "land claims" ARE driving the prices UP and I expect that they will soon match the cost of Desert Bighorns in Old Mexico.

One outfitter I would recommend based on knowing people who have worked for him and clients, is Stan Stevens who hunts in the NWT; I hope to hunt with him when I can, more for the experience than huge trophies. He is definitely one to consider.

On the Yukon plateau in the Ogilvie and Wernecke Mountains about 350 air miles North of Whitehorse. It is a 12,000 square mile area operated by Midnight Sun Outfitting.

Exactly why I went africa last time. For what our fellow countrymen are charging us I'll go hunt true exotics in a different culture. Double the bang for about the same buck
