have two basic game cams, both with one year warranty when new several years ago.

they're both shorted out i think, and repair is probably prohibitive.

what's reasonalble quality game cams that aren't an arm and leg in cost?

no phone line or anything needed. just hold the cards and take pictures and not eat batteries.

I've had wildlife technologies, Browning, cuddyback, and some others. For a good quality basic camera the Browning have been my favorite by a pretty wide margin.

I recently got a reveal tactacam pro cell camera. I've been impressed by it so far. I went with the unlimited plan as I didn't want to get a surprise cost with 590 pics the first day due to leave or weeds blowing. Glad I did. Bought the solar charger as lots of pictures could use up batteries fast.

I'm on my 4th season of a Wildgame Innovations camera. I leave it up year round and a set of batteries lasts almost the entire year. It's been the longest lasting camera I've ever owned.

My favorite is a Spypoint Solar Dark, it's still got the same batteries for four years.
The cheap cameras eat batteries so I added a solar panel to each, plugs into the power port and straps the mount to the tree.
Worth it!
