People in Arizona did like McCain, he was a Vet, retired military, POW, war hero, and married into a statewide business in Phoenix. With an (R) by his name.
People in Arizona loved that. Ton of vets, plenty of retired military, a few war heroes, and lots of business people.

McCain re- invented himself 2 or 3 times to stay in office, after the Keating 5 stuff (everybody loved Keating too, until he got caught) McCain came out hard for 1) The Grand Canyon and 2) Native Americans, esp Navajos. He dropped that when he "became" a tea-party" republican.

Part was how he treated McCain and part was how many Mexicans got registered when they turned 18, because Arpaio and Trump hammering on their parents.
At the end, when McCain was an old man, and everybody knew he was dying, they all forgave him (in Arizona) and felt like they knew him. (he had been in congress and Senate for a long time by then.) Having a jerk from New York pound on him did not sit well with lots of Republicans. McCain was a shmoozer and knew a lot of people in Arizona.

I've been watching close since then.
The last dump of 80k votes (just a little bit ago) went (by my math) 58.9% to Trump.
IF that trend continues with what they are saying is a remaining 520k votes to be counted, TRUMP WOULD WIN AZ BY ROUGHLY 13K VOTES!
It is not over yet fellas.... If Trump takes what he should (PA, GA, NC) and he turns AZ back to its rightful place as an R state, it is over. Trump wins.
Who knows what % of the next vote dump he takes, but if it is in the same neighborhood of 60%, we have every reason to feel positive.

Last vote dump of 61,039 votes, Trump took 58.8% of the votes. In line with last vote dump where he also took 58.9% of the votes. This is in line with what the Trump camp was saying early yesterday they thought they would take of the remaining AZ vote.
By Fox's last estimation, still leaves 450k votes or so still out there in AZ?
At any rate, Trump has closed the gap further.
There is a current vote advantage to Sleepy Joe of 68,390. If Trump continues to take this 59% of the remaining votes.....He WINS AZ by about 12k votes. And that should mean (less some BS in GA or PA) that he wins the election.
Again, this is far from over. And there is a reason even CNN has backed out of calling AZ for Sleepy Joe. There is a reason the Trump camp thinks they have won.
And there is a reason Rachael MadCow is concerned. This video was from two vote dumps ago...
