A couple weeks ago did a run of 250gr Kodiaks for my 356 Winchester, 46gr of TAC with Winchester WLR primers. Sighted in, chronographed at 2280, temp was 50 degrees, grouped fine. Went out yesterday at 25 degrees and group's opened up to over 12in. at 50yds. Switched to 200gr factory load and grouped fine. Is TAC that pressure sensitive, is the WLR primer not hot enough for cold weather? Never had anything like this happen, am at a loss to explain it, happy that discovered this before deer hunting this week!

TAC can be somewhat temp-sensitive in some cartridge/bullet combos.

It was originally designed as a military powder for the 5.56 and 7.62 NATO rounds, the commercial versions of which are the .223 Remington and .308 Winchester. TAC tends to be very temp-resistant in those rounds.
