Its very rare we eat fast food,even rarer we eat Mcdonalds,but our youngest said she had a craving for it,so we went through the drive through.the bill came to $24.02.when we got to the pay window,i handed the kid a 20 and a 10,and i said ,hold on i have the 2 cents, and he said to me,that won t do any good.W T F ? so i explained to him that if he took the 2 cents and gives me back $6.00 we re all good.he was completely clueless.i said to him,you don t know how to make change do you?,he said he doesn t have to,the register tells him what the change is,and it didn t tell him to take 2 cents and give back $6,.00. .....this is why they vote for Biden ... they really are this stupid.

Yes fast food joints are full of stupid ginthers. I no longer eat it, because I have to immediately hit the toilet afterwards and take a huge slavek.

Did that at the grocery store.
Gave more than what was owed and included some change and dollar bills so I would be owed a $10.00 bill.
Kid looked at the money all confused and I said, you owe me $10.00, I don't want more change & small bills.
He enters the amount into the register and when the register told him to give me back $10 his eyes got big and he said, you did that in your head?

Welcome to the great society. Where the effects of about 5 decades of dumbing down America is now coming to fruition. I've run into that same problem with some young cashiers who would be totally lost if the register didn't do the math for them.

I don't personally think whether the kid at McDonalds can count my change back is the biggest problem the country faces, but I get what you're saying.
