I picked up a bar of lead today to cast bullets for my muzzleloader. It has 50/50 stamped on it. Does imply it to be a 50% lead, 50% something else antimony? If so, is it o.k. to use for muzzleloader bullets? I'm not desperate for lead as I found a source for the pure stuff at .25cents per pound. I figure one pound equels 20 bullets, 100 pounds 2000 bullets, thats 2000 bullets for $25.00. I couldn't buy 40 maxi-balls for that retail. I figure on buying 50 lbs. and having a lifetime+ supply on hand.

That is 50 % lead and 50% tin. It is not suitable for muzzleloader use. Pure lead is what you want here. The pure lead will upset properly to seal against the bore.
