is there an easy, workable, way to increase the length of pull on the rossi model 92?

I have always just used the smallest slip-on Limbsaver. It also keeps them from crashing to floor if you need to lean your rifle against the wall for a few minutes.
Boyd's makes an 1894 style stock for the Rossi but I'd expect some fitting to be needed,
