No it's not about "Why can I not find any".. I'm wondering what ammo you have had the best luck with? As far as Factory loads, I do reload but have not started for my 30-30 yet. Looking for info about reliability, accuracy, on game effectiveness, and cleanliness. I know the ol trusty 150gr Corelokts have been killing deer for a very long time, but I've heard people having issues with failure to fire due to the hardness of the primer cup and weak hammer springs. Anyone experienced this? I'm not looking for the latest greatest trendy wiz bang bullet. At 30-30 speeds any basic C&C bullet will do if put where it should be

i have had good luck with the cheapest ammo. corelokt 170's and winchester power points. i have also shot deer with corelokt 150's but standardized on 170s. all shoot better than the leverevolution ammo in my guns. same goes for 35's with 200 corelokts. cheap works.
My diploma is a DD214

Blue box Federal is a good place to start.

Remington, Winchester, Federal, Hornady... whatever shoots most accurately in your rifle.
Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats.
