Local Fleet Farm had 525 bulk of Federal 36 gr HP for $30 this week. Limit 1
Supply lasted a few hours on the shelves. It is out there, folks just have to find it.

I took down all of mine except the brick of CCI Quiet-22 that has already been bid up to $72 + 20 shipping and has almost 7 days to go.
I haven’t shot any of it, but it did not have good reports here. My Marlin bolt action will put 5 of the Quiet .22's in one ragged hole from 30 yards.

I recently did a count of mine at 21K after finding this lost group of 7500 on the top shelf. I take it that you are not recoil shy. Nope.

I scoped and sighted in a Remington 580 single shot for them. In spite of the terrible trigger on that rifle, it was capable of pretty consistently hitting eggs at 50 yards. Had no failure to fire issues as mentioned above. I kicked myself for buying that much of the "Quiets" as it was the same price as CCI standard velocity, which was more versatile, as the SV would function in our 10-22's, our Ruger Mark 3's, and my Nelson 1911 conversion. Guess I'll go back to taking the rifles out of the safe and putting the ammo in.

Yes nice pic, what rifle is that? Just thorns. Yep on the Yosemites. A New Haven 416 Rem M70 in a McM stock, Wisner front and rear sights, Leupold VXIII 1.5 - 5X in Talley QD rings/bases.

Ed, nice set up there!
I fired a 416 RM exactly ONCE in my life. A rebarreled 700 Classic, and that stock design was PUNISHING...though the 416 is no pussycat. About every other shot the floorplate would fly open under recoil! About put me on my Azz! Lol.
Nice rifle and Buff, congrats!

Hard to tell... I might be short on a few, but not overly worried. Nice! I wish I had the motivation to get that organized. Powder and primers stacked in boxes by the garage freezer. Bullets and brass stacked in boxes....most labeled, but some not. Some day!!

Had to dig out a few k rounds for a neighbor. About 1/3 my supply but shooting never these days. Saw a Bucket O Bullets hit $550 on GB and still bidding. I gave another guy 700 rounds of 556 and 3-4 boxes of Federal 308. Probably about out of goodwill though. Won’t be replacing it at these prices.

Shoulda saved it for when you need them to have it. Because now, they will show up with empty rifles, expecting you to fill them, if they are like most folks.

So ashamed, that I'm down to about a quarter of that 20K figure, give or take a few thousand? Looked at GB the other night. Astounded to see almost every center fire round on there is at buck a pop and higher. Quit when I noticed 380 was that high.
If three or more people think you're a dimwit, chances are at least one of them is right.
