I'm a Crown man, and none of the special reserve, apple flavored, black barrel limited edition stuff, just the regular Crown Royal in the purple bag. Damn smooth, and a lotta times here in NH you can get the package deal with two decent rocks glasses.

As far as Gin goes, call me crazy but I like Gordon's, the wife likes Hendricks but she's WAY classier than me.

Old Forester 100 proof rye
Rittenhouse 100 proof rye, bottled in bond Couldn't agree more. I'd also add Evan Williams Bottled in Bond, Wild Turkey 101, Old Forester 100 proof bourbon, Mellow Corn (Corn Whiskey), and Old Grand Dad 114. For Scotch, Deanston Virgin Oak. For Gin, Beafeaters. For Vodka - who cares.

Weller Special Reserve neat. Don't know when was the last time you bought that but it's no longer cheap. It used to be, but then the trendy bourbon buyer leaned it was the same mash bill as Pappy and the demand for it went thru the roof. Here is what one crazy retailer is trying to charge for it - $199.99 The last time I bought it about 3 years ago I got it for about $28. https://caskcartel.com/products/w-l-weller-special-reserve-bourbon-whiskey?variant=30582804316298&utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=bing&utm_campaign=Bing%20Shopping&msclkid=0554d45bcde31293a63b8b86e5984cbf&utm_term=4576648441637487&utm_content=w.l.%20weller%20special%20reserve%20bourbon%20whiskey%20%7C%20united%20states%20%7C%20750%20ml,%2045%25%20abv%20recommended%20at%20caskcartel.com%20(shopify_us_4247718527114_30582804316298)

Old Forester 100 proof rye
Rittenhouse 100 proof rye, bottled in bond The Rittenhouse sure did become harder to find and WAY more expensive here over the last 5 years or so. But it is very, very good.

I have stopped drinking whiskeys and now stick mostly to the grape. Mainly a good shot of brandy every night. Several health benefits in the distilled grape. Occasional glass of wine and very occasionally a beer.
I have tried all the brandies and cognacs available around here. My favorite is E&J XO, tastes very good, less than $15 a bottle around here, good stuff. Acts like a nice warm blanket at bedtime. I like it better than most cognacs that are a hell of a lot more expensive.
My beer is Yeungling Traditional Lager.

Gordons Gin ...Gordons Vodka
For a different Martini try half gin half vodka, anchovy olives , shake couple drops of bitters . I like 1 drop orange or peach bitters.
Start out with 2-3 oz. of each gin and vodka and work your way up to a spoiler.

I should probably lay in a stock of the rye whiskeys I mentioned before the herd gets wind around here.

I am liking Daviess County Bourbon these days. Not too much charcoal so it doesn't give me the heartburn after bedtime, it's 96 proof, under $45 and it is a wheated bourbon. !792 Bourbon is pretty good for lower price and, of course, Buffalo Trace.

Never mind that those dillweeds don't understand Julian Van Winkle hasn't selected the barrels that become Weller. More like he weeded them out.

Evan William's Black is simply delicious being better than Crown. Damn right! Cheapest AND best. How can you compete with that? My favorite at any price, yes. One bottle lasts 1 year here, but I'm still glad it's cheap.

My beer is Yeungling Traditional Lager. Yuengling, yes! I was first introduced to it at a promotion party for my Marine neighbor. Marines know beer. How do you drink your brandy? Just a straight shot in a glass?

I have found the Kirkland 12-year blended scotch acceptable. Their two cheaper versions are not even close to acceptable. The 12 is $36 for a 1.75l. For just 40% whisky it works.
Sky Vodka at $26 for 1.75l here is about the best deal going.
The Kirkland dry gin works for me...

I like the Irish. I've tried the expensive scotch. Well whisky and Pepsi is just as good. I won't tell you the brand out of shame. Chances are for 82% of you it will be your next drink.
